1987 yılının Ocak ayında doğan Henrik Isaksson Stockholm yakınlarında büyüdü. Şu anda hala Stockholm’ün dışında bir orman içindeki evinde yaşıyor ve çalışıyor. Çoğunlukla 4”x5” olmak üzere dijital ve analog malzemeler kullanıyor. Resimlerinde heykel sanatına göndermede bulunan bilimsel ögelere yer veriyor. Henrik için heykelin önemli bir yeri var; varolanı görüntülemek yerine fotoğraflarında yeni bir şey yaratmaya çalışıyor. Fotoğraf eğitimini Kulturama’da alan Henrik Isaksson Garnell, fotoğraf sanatçısı DAWID ile de çalışmıştır.
Henrik was born in January 1987 just 2 miles outside of Stockholm. He now lives in a house located in the forest where he works with both digital and analogue equipment (often 4×5). Henrik works with sculptural and scientific elements in his pictures ultimately giving life to inanimate objects by building new life forms. As sculptures play an important role in his work, he also has a strong interest in photography which he thinks as a medium to create images rather than to just take pictures. He stages daydreams and nightmares and moves between surrealism and concretisim. Henrik has sold photographic training and Kulturama, where the artist has worked with photo-based artist DAWID.
